The Sherman College Chiropractic Health Center is located in the E.C. Taylor Building on the campus of Sherman College. There are 21 spacious rooms equipped with modern chiropractic and adjusting equipment to serve the students and community with quality chiropractic care. The Taylor Building also houses classrooms and x-ray training facilities. Other sections of the building contain a spacious intern lounge, public lecture room, Research Department, private consultation rooms and staff offices.
Our chiropractic interns are in the final phase of the doctor of chiropractic degree program. They are tremendously dedicated men and women who have received many hours of training and have passed comprehensive tests in order to qualify to care for patients in our Chiropractic Health Center. Rest assured that all the care you receive from our chiropractic interns is carefully approved and supervised by our experienced faculty of licensed doctors of chiropractic.
The Chiropractic Health Center is a training facility for chiropractic interns. Our care procedures are extensive. Therefore, you can depend on a very high quality of care and service. Chiropractic interns are required to be extremely thorough and are guided and supervised by licensed doctors of chiropractic through each phase of your care.
Because we are a teaching facility, chiropractic interns are required to complete many analytical steps and documentation procedures throughout your care. We know you will appreciate the tremendous amount of time your chiropractic intern puts into providing chiropractic service tailor made for you. Thank you for your patience as your chiropractic intern works with you at a pace that is conducive to learning, as well as to improving your health expression.

Our greatest desire is to provide chiropractic care that benefits you. Your intern is only able to do this when you keep your scheduled appointments. You may require frequent visits when you first begin care. However, visits may become less frequent once your spine has been properly adjusted. You will then require fewer exams and adjustments.
The purpose of chiropractic care is to restore and maintain the proper relationship between the spine and the nerve system. Sometimes the bones of the spine, which are designed to protect the spinal cord and spinal nerves, move out of place causing an interference to the nerves ability to carry mental impulses - messages traveling from the brain to the cells and organs of the body. This condition is known as vertebral subluxation. When vertebral subluxation occurs, interfering with the messages between the brain and body parts, the body is unable to experience its highest level of health.
Fortunately for all of us, the bones of the spine can be restored to their proper position with the help of a chiropractor. The chiropractor skillfully adjusts the misaligned vertebra to remove nerve interference and to allow the body to express its maximum potential for health.
